IFK Malmö Handboll was one of 25 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Malmö Beach Battle 2014. They participated with 16 teams in 8 out of Malmö Beach Battles all 22 categories. The team in Pojkar 00 made it to the the Final in Slutspel A, but lost it against Lödde Vikings HK by 6-8.

In addition to this, IFK Malmö Handboll have participated in Malmö Beach Battle before. During Malmö Beach Battle 2013, IFK Malmö had 17 teams playing in 8 out of Malmö Beach Battles all 16 categories. The team in Ledare made it to the the in Gruppspel, but lost it against Dalhems IF by 0-0.

IFK Malmö originates from Malmö, which is the same city as where Malmö Beach Battle takes place. The area around Malmö does also provide 18 additional clubs participating during Malmö Beach Battle 2014 (Among others: HK Malmö, Veberöds HK, IFK Klagshamn, Dalhems IF, LK Systems, Lödde Vikings HK, H43, H43 Lund, HK Ankaret and Stavarna).
